our vision

Meeting with God

In addition to our personal walk with God, we believe the Word of God, worship and prayer are foundational to our lives together in Christ.  We believe as we meet together as the gathered Church we will experience more of his presence and power to equip us for living as his dispersed church during the week.  We want to prioritise sharing our faith, our lives and our homes together as we build His church, in His strength, for His glory, not our own.

REaching others

We are on a mission, living as Salt & Light in the world.  We want to see many people finding new life in Jesus and becoming bringers of new life to others as we serve our friends, our neighbours and our communities.  We want to be proclaiming the good news and demonsrating the good news in every aspect of culture and society, and see lives and communities transformed by the life of God within us.  We want to create transformed expressions of community that leads to fruitfulness and effective mission locally, nationally and globally to reach others for Jesus.

making disciples

We want to know more of God's truth through understanding what the Bible says and developing a deeper relationship with Jesus.  We are all disciples, encouraging and equipping one another to live an authentic Christian life.  We want our lives to be transformed and shaped more and more each day by experiencing the reality of God's love for us and becoming what God has created us to be.  We want to encourage one another to develop leadership and gifting through mentoring and learning from one another.  We believe in baptism through water and the Holy Spirit.

Building the Family

We believe family is at the heart of how we are called to build together as a church.  We want to be accessible and encourage a sense of belonging, security, friendship, generosity, encouragement, care and fellowship.  We want to see every member find ways of using their God-given gifts in our daily lives.  We value unity in diversity and understand and enjoy the richness of the multi-generational Body of Christ in an atmosphere of respect and mutual appreciation.  We prioritise the extended family - we are not an independent church!

Mosaic Kids

We at Mosaic Church believe that every child is able to encounter and discover a personal relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Mosaic Kids team leaders work towards enabling the children, from 4-11 years old, to find out what their God given purpose is and we do this through a variety of innovative, fun and engaging activities that follow a yearly curriculum.

The curriculum explores a variety of topics from a biblical foundation, as well as focusing on particular Bible stories that help the children find out how the Scriptures are relevant and true in today's life.

All our volunteers are DBS compliant and have received safeguarding training to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all the children under our care. Click here to read our Safeguarding policy.

Mosaic Youth

The youth are the future of the church and we want them to realise who they are in Christ and all that God has done for them. Romans 12:1-2 in the Message bible sums it up well

We encourage our youth to get fully involved in church activities and give them the platform and accountability to explore the ministry that God has given them. Our Friday night meeting is open to anyone in year 7-13 and is run by a dedicated team of leaders.

In their own words:

'It's great to talk with one another'

'It's a place where we are able to be ourselves and talk about Jesus. We are encouraged to teach others about our faith, and through doing so learn more ourselves.'

'I feel happy to bring friends along'

Midweek Groups

Our midweek groups provide a great opportunity for fellowship and discipleship in a home setting.  We share life, eat cake, discuss the Bible, challenge each other to grow and step out in faith and pray for each other.  We have a number of groups meeting across Bangor and the surrounding area.
